The Beeches is situated in the centre of Ixworth village, only 5 miles away from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
 

		The home occupies a large Victorian house which has been tastefully converted
		A purpose-built extension was added to the main house in 1989
		It is set in an acre of grounds with ample hardwalking surfaces and seating areas
		Residents can relax outside on warm days in a very secure setting

	The home is specifically designed to care for all aspects of dementia
	Interiors have been tailored to reduce distractions that might further muddle confused residents
	A great deal of effort has been expended on avoiding the home becoming an institution
	Lounge areas are comfortably furnished and a large conservatory allows residents to enjoy views across the garden

		Both single room and shared accommodation are available in this non-smoking home
		All rooms have TV points and most rooms have en suite facilities. Telephone facilities are available
		The home is suitable for wheelchairs and there is also a lift to all floors
		Residents are encouraged to make their room a true home from home by bringing in favourite furnishings

	Meals may be taken in one of the dining rooms, or in the privacy of the residents own room
	The cuisine is always of a good quality based upon traditional English recipes
	A varied menu ensures all residents can benefit from a nutritionally balanced diet
	All dietary requirements are catered for and we make use of the season's best market produce

The standard of the home and the care and friendliness of the staff is extremely high.
