Christmas Time at The Beeches Residential Home

Here at The Beeches Residential Home, we’re all very excited for Christmas.

To celebrate, our little community will be taking part in plenty of festive activities over the coming days, starting off with a joyous carol singing session. On the song list are some of the resident’s favourite tunes, including God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman, Joy To The World and O Holy Night.

Some of these songs have fond memories attached to our resident’s previous Christmas’s, and we hope that they’ll bring plenty of happy smiles as they bring back those pleasant reminiscences.

Our resident’s love getting up and having a sing and dance with fantastic Rockit B’s dulcet tones so on Christmas Eve, we are welcoming her back! She’ll be singing some of the best sounds of the ’60s.

After the fun of Rockit’s entertainment, residents will then enjoy mince pies and a hearty cup of tea before getting a visit from Santa Claus. With him, Santa will be bringing a few Christmas surprises, getting our family in the festive spirit just before the big day.

Then, on Christmas Day, our care team will be dressing up, adding a dose of festive cheer throughout the home. We’ll be welcoming different family members, sharing gifts and enjoying a delicious Christmas lunch. In the afternoon, our day will be full of fun as our residents enjoy traditional games!

From the care team and our community of residents, we’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
