Residents enjoy annual summer party at The Beeches residential care home

A few weeks ago, we hosted our annual summer party at The Beeches care home. It was a lovely event where residents, their families, and staff members were invited to enjoy sunshine and song at our care home.

The summer party was held on a sunny day in July in our beautiful garden. The entire place was buzzing with excitement as residents, family and friends came together to celebrate.

What we did at the summer party:

The summer extravaganza was a success with the residents and guests. Everyone had a wonderful time! We shared food and drinks, played games and even had the chance to win some fun prizes.

Our residents’ favourite local singer, Ray gave a smashing performance. He brought life to the party with his tunes and had everyone on the dance floor in no time.

Our amazing staff had set up an afternoon tea for everyone to enjoy. We also had homemade cakes that were a hit amongst the residents.

Lisa and Mel, our activities coordinators, had arranged games and activities for the afternoon including a raffle and tombolas.

Bev Shave, deputy manager at The Beeches, said: “The energy at the party was incredible and the weather was on our side.

“Seeing everyone come together like this warms our hearts, after all, this is what The Beeches is all about – a happy community”.

The party was an opportunity for the staff, residents, and their loved ones to connect, share stories, and make memories.

Manager, Angela Wade said: “It was a lovely day out in the sun and we had great fun!

“It was nice to see all the residents’ families and share these memories with them”.

The Beeches is not just a care home but a warm and supportive community. We deliver care that maintains the dignity and individuality of each person and support them to live an independent life.
