The Beeches get baking for Red Nose Day

This Red Nose Day, we hosted a bake sale at The Beeches to raise money to support people facing poverty in the UK and around the world.

Our staff, residents and their family members came together to make the bake sale a success. While we might not have broken any baking records, we managed to raise a brilliant £61! As our lovely deputy home manager Bev says, “Every little helps,” and we’re thrilled to have contributed to such a worthy cause.

A collective effort

Everyone chipped in and baked something for the day. From classic cupcakes to decadent brownies, and more, there was something to satisfy every sweet tooth. The baked goods weren’t just delicious, they looked amazing too!

Our staff members truly got into the Red Nose Day spirit as they sported red noses and wore red tops to show their support. It was a great way to raise money for a good cause while having a bit of fun.

Residents enjoyed the treats

Our residents enjoyed being a part of the bake sale. Not to mention indulging in the treats that were not sold later that evening! There were lots of smiles and happy faces throughout the day.

A huge thank you!

A massive thank you to everyone involved in our Red Nose Day bake sale. From the bakers to the buyers, your contribution helped make the day a success.

As per the official website, £30 can help provide 150 meals to families in need in the UK and £50 can contribute to a new school uniform for a child who needs it. All of us at The Beeches are very glad to have made a small contribution to such a lovely cause.
